A passion for nature, a desire to create, and a practical concern for a friend's chemical sensitivities is how Wildhaven
came to be. There was a need for a product that was mild, moisturizing, and enjoyable to use. I may be just a little biased,
but I do feel that we've far surpassed this need!

~ Many soaps are made with tallow (listed as
sodium tallowate) which can irritate the skin. But tallow is very inexpensive, meaning higher profits, so it is the main ingredient
in many store bought soaps. However NO animal products are used in our soaps. It is totally unnecessary to use tallow
when such a wide variety of vegetable oils can produce superior soap.
~ We use only high quality natural ingredients.
Our soap is scented with essential plant oils - we never use synthetic fragrances. (This means that when you smell Lavender
Breeze you're smelling actual Lavender - not a laboratory concoction!) Their colors come from herbs, spices and minerals -
not from synthetic dyes.
~ We do no animal testing. All product testing is done by very willing friends and family!
~ Our 4 oz + bars are produced in small batches by
a cold-process method. Unlike many commercially manufactured soaps, which remove and sell the naturally occurring glycerin,
our soap retains it - and all it's moisturizing benefits.
Our soap is pure and basic, the way we feel soap should
be. And with the addition of some plant oils, herbs and spices, getting naturally clean can be fun and enjoyable too!
